People are always fascinated by mathematical puzzles irrespective of their age. Some years back when rubik cube was introduced, people around the world were much attracted to the game and each and everybody living in each household started using the cube and they were happy when they were able to solve the puzzles generated through the cube.
Puzzles originated long back even centuries back. There were different kinds of puzzles. At the initial stage, men started doing the puzzles by counting stones or leaves. Subsequently, when they had started reading, they used to write puzzles on sands or walls and solve the puzzles. They had conducted many competitions among themselves and started awarding various prizes so that the winners are getting motivated
Children and teen-agers look at the mathematical puzzles anxiously as they enhance their brain power and they entertain their minds. Many puzzles look simple after the solution is found and that is the peculiarity of the puzzles also.The puzzles are brain teasers and improves the logical aptitude of the people who are attempting to solve the puzzles
Mathematics is a science in which we think carefully about the various numbers starting from 1 to 9 and about space. Men have used numbers for about seven thousand years. As time passed, they started inventing new and better ways of writing them . The Arabic numbers use only ten symbols, the digits 0, 1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9. In recent times the game called Sudoku emanated from Japan had caught the attention of many people around the world. It is a very interesting game. There are eightyone squares – nine horizontally and nine vertically. Among the eightyone squares, there are nine square boxes each box consisting of nine small squares – three horizontally and three vertically.
Numbers ranging from 1 to 9 are to be arranged in the squares. There will be nine sets of numbers each ranging from 1 to 9. Each square box has to accommodate numbers from 1 to 9. The numbers are to be arranged in such a way that the same numbers should not be repeated in every column and every row. It means each column should contain numbers from 1 to 9 in any order and each row should contain numbers from 1 to 9 in any order.
Sudoku is a very interesting game. It improves the memory power, reasoning ability and logical ability. A person who is able to solve difficult Sudoku puzzles masters in his reasoning and logical ability to a great extent.
Sudoku is akin to Chess. In both cases, reasoning and logical ability are improved to a great extent
